**Albuquerque Fire Rescue Swiftly Controls Devastating Structure Fire, No Injuries Reported**
On the evening of October 4th, around 5:45 PM, Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a potential structure fire at 11417 Linn Ave NE, a single-story family home.
Upon receiving the distress call, Engine 12 (E12) from Albuquerque Fire Rescue arrived on the scene to discover a nightmarish sight. The entire structure was engulfed in flames, with fire and smoke billowing from all sides.
With an admirable and rapid response, the dedicated crew of E12 tackled the blaze, deploying their extensive training and experience to control the fire’s devastating advance. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes after their arrival, preventing further escalation and potential dangers. A neighbor residing near the fire-affected home shared their perspective on the incident, describing it as “a very scary event.” They went on to express their gratitude for the strong sense of community that rallied to provide assistance and praised the prompt response of the firefighters, noting that there were no human casualties and all beloved pets were also safe.
Regrettably, the residence suffered complete destruction. According to AFR, no civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The fire’s origin has been attributed to an accident. No further details are currently available.
