Albuquerque, NM – A two vehicle crash happened at Louisiana and Lomas NE involving a marked Albuquerque Police vehicle. It was reported that the police car caught on fire after the crash but it was extinguished almost immediately by fire personnel.

One occupant of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries. The officer could be seen removing things from his police car and appeared uninjured.
Traffic was a mess for drivers as they tried to avoid the busy intersection.
