APD: Officer Involved Shooting in NW ABQ No Injuries to Anyone Involved

Officers and detectives can be seen arriving gathering initial information about the metros latest officer involved shooting.

NW Albuquerque – Shortly after 7:45pm, APD’s Sworn Public Information Officer Daren DeAguero sent out a media alert stating that APD officers in the Southwest Area Command were currently investigating an officer involved shooting (OIS) near the 4600 block of Glendale Pl. NW.

Reportedly, when officers were on scene at a domestic disturbance call, there was at least one gunshot fired by an APD Officer, but no one was injured. According to APD, one individual has been arrested as a result of the original domestic incident.

This situation is ongoing and APD Officers are still actively working this scene.
