An APD officer stands near the entrance of a hotel room where an occupant was found deceased prompting a homicide call out.
NE ABQ – According to Gilbert Gallegos, APD’s Civilian Director of Communications, APD officers in the Northeast Area Command responded the Extended Stay Hotel, located at 2108 Menaul Blvd. NE, in response to a report of an occupant who appeared to be deceased.
When APD officers arrived at the Extended Stay Hotel, they determined the individual was dead of unnatural causes and APD’s homicide detectives were called out to investigate further.

At the scene, officers and investigators could be seen on the south side of the complex preparing to start the investigation in the room where the individual was dead.

This is the 169th homicide for Albuquerque in 2022.
