Albuquerque –

Albuquerque Public Schools is the second government agency in the Albuquerque area to be hit by a cyberattack. The APS district has notified staff, students, and parents that school has been canceled for Thursday and possibly Friday.

According to APS, athletic games, tournaments and other extracurricular activities are expected to continue as scheduled. Essential employees are still expected to report to work.

It is unclear if there is a ransom amount associated with this attack.
