For those wondering about an Amber Alert and why one has not been issued yet, there are specific criteria to issue an alert, and typically an agency, BCSO in this particular case, has to meet ALL of the criteria before one can be issued by the New Mexico State Police. The criteria, according to the New Mexico DPS website, are as follows:
Amber Alert Criteria:
- There must be evidence of a non-family OR custodial abduction
- Of a Child 17 years of age or less
- There must be specific information concerning the abductor and/or child, which would prove useful to the public in hopes of recovering the child
- There must be reason to believe the child is in imminent danger of bodily harm or death
- The child must have already been entered in to NCIC as missing
More information about Amber Alert criteria can also be found here.
Great Job BCSO. I have some info that might be helpful concerning the welfare of this 3 week old new born precious child. Upon information and belief, he was born to a loving mother and soon travelled to the Central and Tramway area, a rather safe neighborhood compared to a few miles west. The mother is likely just simply “nurturing” or breast feeding Michael Ray Brown in a nearby alley or hotel. Michael might very well become a cop or maybe a firefighter in your town in a decade or two. Chief Medina does not need an amber alert to investigate missing citizens. Neither does the Sheriff’s office. Citizens should not be commissioned to do police work? It is dangerous. We pay millions for security,. Law enforcement get’s paid very well regardless of whether they show up to court , crime scenes or work. Please e call 911 if anyone has information regarding the welfare of the missing family of two. Is the father missing?
If you need help locating her reach out to me. I have thoughts and concerns.
So the baby is a foot long and weighs 15 pounds? Has no known eye color nor hair color though his new born mug shot shows what appears to be dark brown or light black hair. The baby was last seen wearing a standard issue New Mexico baby blanket. If he is found, the kid will likely end up in either another free form of clothing, perhaps orange along with silver Smith and Wesson bracelets and living in a free gated community. Or maybe he will wear a N.M. law enforcement uniform, complete with a pair of Smith and Wesson Bracelets. If the kid is found, I hope he understands that orange might be a better career choice. I have never heard of a 12 inch baby that weighs 15 pounds? So it looks like the missing kid will be four foot-eleven at age 18 and 546 pounds, a perfect candidate for medina’s department. We need us an Amber Alert. No wonder the mother is pissed? Giving birth to a 15 pound baby has got to hurt. I just contacted BCSO and was put on hold till I was hung up on after being on hold for over 16 minutes.
