On 5/3/2022, around 7:30AM a City of Albuquerque Sun Van, a commercial landscaping truck with trailer, and a motorcycle were involved in a crash on Bridge Blvd over the river.
The motorcycle appeared to rear end the City of Albuquerque Transit van. During the crash the rider fell off his motorcycle and got hit by the landscaping truck. He was declared dead on scene.
The APD Traffic unit is investigating the cause of the crash and we will update if any charges are filed.
