Albuquerque, NM- The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and DWI-directed patrols from February 1 through February 28, 2023. Deputies will be looking for people driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs to reduce the number of impaired driving-related crashes and fatalities on our roadways.

The Sheriff’s Office strongly believes in the importance of saving lives through proactive strategies and encourages citizens to take an active role in their community and report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911. We need your help; if you consume alcohol or drugs, do not drive, and have a plan to get home safely.

Please utilize rideshare services and avoid drinking and driving at all costs. Through personal

responsibility and proactive policing, we can make Bernalillo County a safer place to live.
