According to the criminal complaint, Woods who was with his girlfriend in her car exited the vehicle with a handgun and started shooting at the tow truck. The tow truck driver was not hit and he escaped while calling the police. The tow truck driver had video of the entire incident and police were able to identify Woods from the footage.
The complaint goes on to say police were eventually able to contact Woods. Woods had a completely different story of what happened. Woods told police that he was told by a friend that his vehicle had been towed so he attempted to call the tow company.
