Albuquerque –
Around 11:40 AM, the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) was dispatched to a call about a man who had reportedly been shot near Trumbull and Alcazar. When APD officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper leg.
The victim informed APD officers that the offender fled on foot, allegedly handing the gun off to a person in another vehicle. The victim is currently being transported to UNMH by Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR).
APD is securing the area to search for the shooter and gather evidence for prosecution.
