Albuquerque –
The Albuquerque Police Department is currently responding to a shooting incident at the Mission Hill Apartments located at 9976 Menaul Blvd NE. The shooting has escalated quickly, resulting in multiple victims. As per preliminary reports, one individual has lost their life, while two others are in critical condition, fighting for their survival.
Details are still unfolding, but what we know so far is that APD are actively engaged in securing the area and investigating the scene. The safety of the residents remains a top priority.
While on scene APD investigators were focused on an apartment building with a K on it. Investigators could be looking at evidence and collecting facts for the case near a breezeway of the apartment and in it’s courtyard.
This is the 95th homicide for the Albuquerque Metro Area for 2023.
