Albuquerque –

Around 7pm, Albuquerque Police officers responded to a shots fired call at Coronado Mall.

It causes tense moments for the mall as people were thinking the worst of an active shooter. When officers arrived they found it was just one shot fired and a suspect fled the area.

The shooting happened near the bowling alley on the Westside of the property.

This was not considered an active shooter situation.

We will update the story if more information becomes available.
