Albuquerque, NM –
On October 9th, 2023, around 8:00PM there was a road rage shooting on 528 and Westside Blvd. It involved a motorcycle and a white SUV.
According to police dispatch logs, a motorcycle rider was hit at least two times by gun fire in the arm and the leg. Medical personnel applied tourniquets to the wounds of the individual. They were transported to UNMH with unknown seriousness to the affected extremities.
Witnesses told us the incident started in Albuquerque at the bottom of the 528 hill leading into Rio Rancho. The scene ended at the top of the 528/Westside intersection near the Latitudes Gas Station. The area was closed down to traffic as police investigated the scene. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho police and fire responded to the call.
