Albuquerque –

The area near 4th and Pacific in Albuquerque is tense as both the Albuquerque Police Department and New Mexico State Police are working to apprehend a person for a parole violation.

The location where the suspect is reportedly holed up is 1102 Barelas Rd SW.

APD and the NMSP are working to safely take the suspect into custody.

We have reporters on the scene, and we will update you when more information becomes available.

At 5:05 PM, the suspect was taken into custody.
