APD Investigating Suspicious Death in War Zone

Albuquerque –

There is Albuquerque Police Department police activity in the area of Florida St and Bell Ave.

Around 10:50 AM, an individual called 911 to report a suspicious vehicle that had been abandoned in the area. Upon checking the vehicle again, the caller reportedly discovered a deceased person.

While on scene, we observed APD investigating a pickup truck in the far east of the apartment complex parking lot.

APD has blocked Florida from Bell Ave. to Cochiti Rd. to investigate the scene. Authorities have not said whether the death is considered suspicious or whether foul play is suspected.
