Rio Rancho Police Investigate Homicide at Urgent Care Facility

On October 22, 2026, the Rio Rancho Police responded to a call of a 23 year old male not conscious and not breathing at 4100 High Resort Blvd (Presbyterian Urgent Care). 

Upon arrival, EMS was attempting life saving efforts, however, the male was beyond life saving measures.

Officers later learned that the male was being aggressive with family members and was restrained at some point.  The Rio Ranch Police did not disclose who restrained the male, whether it was his family or another party.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide until further information is learned.
