Albuquerque –
Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews are on scene of a working commercial structure fire at the Garcia’s tent at 303 Arvada Ave NW, near 2nd Street and West Frontage Road. According to AFR radio traffic, ladder access is limited due to the structure’s height, and heavy flames are visible from the upper portions of the structure.
Management has confirmed that all employees have been accounted for. There are preliminary reports that at least one person suffered injuries. The extent of the injuries are no known.
Garcia’s Tents has been a long mainstay in the community with setting up tents at small to large events in the Albuquerque metro area.
This is a developing story. When we get more information, we will update you.
