BCSO Investigating Homicide Near McDonald’s, One Suspect in Custody

Albuquerque –

Around 1:30PM, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s X account tweeted:

Deputies are on scene of an incident at 1901 Coors. Southbound Coors is reduced to one lane at this time while deputies investigate.

BCSO Sgt. Connor Otero responded to our request on information of the incident and indicated that an altercation happened.

“Deputies are on scene of a fight. They have an offender in custody and medical personnel are treating a male subject who is not responsive at this point,” said Sgt. Otero

Sgt. Otero emailed a short time later indicating the the male subject died and now the scene is being treated as a homicide.
