Tik Tok Influencer Gives Away Thousands of Tacos

Albuquerque – Last night a social media influencer who goes by the handle @thetacofiend real name “Eddie” announced that he was in Albuquerque and that he was going to give away 500 tacos to the ABQ community. @Thetacofiend chose Tacos La Mordida as his partnership for this event.

Tacos La Mordida is a beloved taco truck which has been parking and serving tacos at Juan Tabo and Prospect NE for six years. We have done other videos with the taco truck owned by a very humble “Hector” and his wife who are originally from Mexico. Hector was blind sided by thetacofiend’s offer, yesterday afternoon, when he stopped at Hectors truck and stated he wanted to buy 500 tacos for the community. See video here:

Hector quickly agreed and thetacofiend handed Hector a huge wad of cash to prep for the taco party the following day at noon. We showed up at around 1:00PM and the line was still going strong and at least 600 orders had already gone out which was over the original 500 agreed to. The taco orders consisted of 3 tacos per order. Taco orders had inside (1) Birria taco, (1) Carne Asada Taco, and (1) Pastor Taco with all the fixing and some salsa. It is estimated that Hector and Eddie gave away over 2000 tacos today.

Some came too late for the tacos but promised to be back to try this beloved taco truck located on the corner of Juan Tabo and Prospect NE. The truck is set up on this corner almost every day after 3PM.
