Someone Called in Threats to ABQ T-Mobile Call Centers, Suspicious Device Found at One Location

Employees Wait Outside the T-Mobile Call Center on Jefferson After Someone Made Threats to the Location on June 6


Albuquerque –

On June 6th, an unknown person called in a threat to the T-Mobile call center.  T-Mobile management staff and security evacuated all employees from the center located on Jefferson.  After APD checked the business, the all clear was given for employees to go back to work at 11:15am.

A few minutes later, employees at another T-Mobile location on Menaul, just west of I-25, found a suspicious device in the building, which police officers also had to clear.

Employees and staff of the T-Mobile location on Menaul were also evacuated a safe distance from the building while police investigated.  Bomb techs and other personnel with a Police Service Dog (PSD) did enter the Menaul T-Mobile location to investigate further.
