Albuquerque –
Just before 12:40 PM on Wednesday, December 17th, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing at the Love’s Travel Stop and Truck Care at 12605 Central Ave NW. The calling party advised that a male was stabbed and was on the north side of the business.
When deputies arrived shortly after, they located a male near the water tower in the back lot of the truck stop with at least one stab wound. The male was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital.
Deputies reportedly located a knife on scene, and at the time of the incident, BCSO had detained an individual in a patrol unit for questioning.
When we arrived on scene around 1:20 PM, deputies were putting a man in handcuffs into the back of one of the BCSO SUVs.
