Albuquerque –
On August 25th, 2022, The Albuquerque Police Department was on a barricaded subject call with a serial burglary suspect at the Arioso Apartments located at 7303 Montgomery Blvd NE. That suspect was taken into custody.
During that call Police were requested to check out a sedan vehicle in the parking lot which had been sitting there for months. Upon officers inspection of the vehicle they found what they thought was two dead bodies in the car. One body appeared to be in the front seat and the other looked to be in the back seat in the fetal position. The car windows were closed.
The above photo was posted to a Facebook crime watch page explaining the discovery of the bodies.
APD towed the car to the crime lab for further investigation. Upon further investigation detectives were able to determine the car only contained only one skeletonized human remain. Detectives determined that the body at some point during the decomposition stage apparently separated into two part making it appear at first glance that it was two separate bodies inside the car.
It is unclear what is the cause of death of the two individuals.
