NW Albuquerque –
APD officials tell us that at around 2am this morning, their officers were dispatched to reports of a shooting in the area of 65th St NW and Milne Rd NW. When officers arrived on scene they located one individual who was already dead apparently from gunshot wounds.
According to APD, two more were shot at the same scene and are currently at a local area hospital, in unknown conditions. APD Homicide detectives are on scene taking over the investigation.
While on scene we observed a normally quiet neighborhood specifically on Milne and 64th st NW on lockdown as officers and detectives worked to find out what happened this morning.
This is the 120th homicide of 2023
