50 Plus Shots Fired at House Party, Leaves 1 Dead and 2 Wounded in NW ABQ

NW Albuquerque –

On July 29th, 2022 around 11:30PM, Albuquerque Police officers radioed in about hearing a barrage of gun fire near Atrisco Drive NW. Dispatchers at the same time were notified of a ShotSpotter notification in the same area. APD estimated over 50 shots were fired during this incident.

Officers were able to find the location of the shooting. When officers arrived at the 5600 block of Milne Drive NW they learned there were three gunshot victims. One victim was struck in the neck and the two other victims wounds were unknown. The victims were driven to various hospitals by civilians. One of the victims died at a local hospital.

A witness told us that it was a house party advertised online. A vehicle drove by a few times and shot at the house with multiple guns.

The alleged party being advertised on social media prior to the shooting.

This is Albuquerque’s 101st homicide of 2022. We will update if anyone is charged in this incident.
