Albuquerque, NM – Albuquerque’s most famous urine drinking street walker Don Schrader is in the hospital after an inconsiderate psychopathic driver mowed him down near the South Broadway Public Library. We are told that Don is currently at UNMH recovering from a crash that could have ended his life. Instead some driver has caused Don months or potentially years of setbacks in his self proclaimed vegan rich, healthy, non-vehicle, lifestyle.
We have talked to Don several times over the years at functions around town and we know he would not hold any ill will towards the crappy driver who hit him. Instead Don would most likely engage the offender in a long conversation about forgiveness and staying away from poisonous foods, drinks, and electronic devices which may have impaired the drivers judgement when he was hit.
The 77-year-old Don Schrader can typically be found hosting a weekly Youtube based public access TV program educating anyone who will listen about healthy lifestyle choices. Schrader has indicated he has not authorized any fundraising efforts online or in person.
Don has been the face of Albuquerque while he walks around town to his various destinations. He touts only living off $5,000 or under for the year. He is anti-war and shares many alternative views in local papers, radio stations, and on his own public access TV station.
We wish Don a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him roaming the streets on foot soon.
