APD Investigates Suspicious Death at Hotel Near Airport

Albuquerque –

Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded to reports of a suicide at the 1400 block of Woodward Road SE around 10:00 AM at the Comfort Suites. During the preliminary investigation, officers determined it was a suspicious death and initiated APD’s Homicide Unit to investigate.

One female was located deceased at the scene. 

 APD’s Homicide Unit is starting an investigation at this listed location.

This is an active investigation and more details will be released when available. This is the same location where APD got into a deadly officer involved shooting with an armed felon and Police Service Dog Rebel was killed.
