APD Investigating 2 Separate Murder Scenes

Albuquerque –

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers responded in the past hour to a deadly shooting at the Maverik gas station locate at Menaul Blvd. and University Blvd. N.E. Officers located one person who was deceased at the scene with a gunshot wound. A second person was shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital. Homicide detectives have been called out to start an investigation.

A separate homicide investigation was launched at 404 Española St. S.E. A woman was located just before midnight with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the apartment complex. She was transported to the hospital, where she died as a result of her wound. The investigation is ongoing.
