SE Albuquerque – On October 1, 2023 at around 9:00AM Officers in the Valley area command were called to a home near Broadway and Wesmeco SE. The caller stated there was a female who had been shot dead. When officers and rescue personnel arrived they attempted to render life saving measures to no avail.
A person near the home involved told us the man who lived in the home shot a possible female home intruder.
Homicide detectives could be seen on scene canvassing the area for witnesses and evidence.
