Albuquerque – Shortly after 2AM, the Albuquerque Police Department’s sworn PIO Chase Jewell informed the media that there was an ongoing homicide investigation near Charleston St NE and Domingo Rd NE, which is near Central and Pennsylvania St NE.
According to Ofc Jewell, just after midnight, APD Officers were dispatched to the area of Charleston St NE and Domingo Rd NE to reports of a shooting. When APD Officers arrived on scene, they located one individual, but the victim had already died from their injuries.
APD’s Homicide Unit is taking over this fatal shooting investigation.
This is a developing story. APD has not yet released the victim’s name. It is also unknown if APD has a suspect in custody.
