Albuquerque –
APD PIO Gilbert Gallegos provided an update to the homicide investigation currently underway in the NE part of Albuquerque. Gallegos confirmed the three people found dead inside the home on Georgia St NE at around 6am were all related. It now appears a brother aged 35 killed his older brother who was 48, and then killed both his parents who were in their 70s inside the home. The killer then tried to set the house on fire and fled. We have since learned that killer then went to the NM State Bar office on Masthead NE and committed suicide in front of the building with the same gun used to kill his family members on Georgia St NE. A note was found on scene with the man who killed himself which hinted at mental health issues.
