APD’s Bomb Squad on Scene Near New Mexico Gas Company

Albuquerque –

Around 1:30 PM, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department responded near the New Mexico Gas Company Business Center off Wyoming Blvd. NE and Harper Dr. NE.

A significant police presence has been observed in the area as officers investigate a suspicious package. A witness at the Sports and Wellness facility contacted us and said they saw a large number of APD officers at the scene.

Officers and Police Service Aides (PSAs) have closed several streets surrounding the business center. Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the incident remains active.
