Attorney General Merrick Garland Visits Albuquerque, Speaks with Law Enforcement

Albuquerque –

On Monday, Attorney General Merrick B. Garland was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The purpose of his trip was to visit the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico and meet with U.S. Attorney Alexander M. Uballez as well as federal, state, local, and Tribal law enforcement leaders.

The Attorney General and U.S. Attorney provided very brief opening remarks that the media was allowed to record. Garland highlighted his partnership with the cities Albuquerque Community Safety department. The Attorney General then kicked out media and spoke one on one with the assembled law enforcement partners about a variety of issues.

Garland was in Albuquerque for a brief stop before continuing on back to D.C.
