Valley Albuquerque –

Around 11:45AM, Carrington College located at 1001 Menaul Blvd NE, was evacuated when a bomb threat came into the college via a phone call. Albuquerque Police officers responded and the Bomb Squad were called to the scene.

Students, staff, and teachers were seen evacuating to a nearby parking lot near the campus. Students and staff told us they got a text message on their phones about the possible bomb threat.

After about an hour and a half on scene police cleared the building with no device or threat found. There will be an investigation into who actually phoned in the threat. We reached out to Carrington College for comment and have not heard back from them.
