BREAKING NEWS: At Least One Shot at Kiva Auditorium

Albuquerque –

Around 5PM, Albuquerque Police Officers received a call about a shots fired call at the Albuquerque Convention Center. When officers arrived they located a gunshot victim and bystanders holding down a suspect.

The victim’s condition is unknown and was transported to a local hospital. At this time, police are responding to the scene to secure the area. This was NOT an active shooter situation.

It is unclear what event was being held at the time of the shooting. The convention center’s website did not indicate any events today.
