Car Plummets Down Embankment at Sportsman’s Warehouse, 1 Critically Injured

Albuquerque –

On June 3rd, 2025, Albuquerque Police officers responded to a car crash with injuries at 1450 N Renaissance Blvd NE. The location is the Sportsman’s Warehouse, near the busy shopping complex close to Sam’s club, Home Depot, and Costco near Montaño Blvd.

When officers arrived, they found a single car which had crashed behind the Sportsman’s Warehouse. Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Investigators located a single car crash scene and witnesses said the car crossed lanes of traffic and plummeted down the embankment.

AFR transported the driver to UNMH with critical injuries.
