Crash on I-25 Northbound Near Big I Cleared

Albuquerque –

There is a motor vehicle crash on interstate 25 northbound just south of the Big I. At least two vehicles are involved in the accident. The Albuquerque Fire Department arrived at the scene approximately 2:05 PM. The extent of the injuries is unknown.

The NMDOT sign advises “I-25 Northbound at the Big I has the 3 right lanes closed due to a crash. Expect heavy delays.” Traffic is presently backed up past Lead Ave.

Police Service Aides and New Mexico National Guard Units have lanes blocked.
