On Thursday, November 30th, Joshua Padilla-Spanarkel (photo on the left) was apprehended by Special Agents from the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. According to court records, Padilla-Spanarkel was subject to four unresolved felony warrants and two misdemeanor warrants. The charges associated with the felony warrants encompassed Receiving/Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and three distinct counts of Shoplifting over $500 but less than $2,500.
On Tuesday, November 28th, Special Agents from the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office apprehended Saul Guzman (photo on the right). Guzman was sought on a felony warrant for the charge of Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm.
The charge originated from an incident in May 2023. According to court documents, the male victim involved was spending time with a female he was romantically linked to. The female had previously introduced the victim to Saul Guzman, and on that particular night, they encountered him at a club. Following their departure from the club, Guzman trailed the male and female to the female’s apartment. There, Guzman confronted the victim regarding his romantic involvement with the female. During this confrontation, Guzman physically assaulted the male, resulting in extensive injuries to his face and head. These injuries included a broken nose, a broken jaw, and several facial fractures.
