Police officers in the Southeast Area Command promptly responded to reports of a shooting around 5 p.m. today in the vicinity of Palomas Dr. and Ross Ave. S.E.

Upon arrival, APD officers discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds. The male died at the scene from his injuries.
A person has been taken into custody at the location for further questioning, and APD homicide detectives have initiated an investigation. While on scene we observed a male who was dead next to a sedan.
