NW Albuquerque –
The Albuquerque Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the death of an individual who was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 24th, 2023.
According to APD’s sworn PIO Chase Jewell, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Mountain Road NW and Rio Grande Blvd NW around 5am. Upon arrival, the officers found one person with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
