Albuquerque –
On Friday, April 5th, 2024, allegations surfaced after an employee of Drug Free Sport International reported an unsettling encounter involving renowned mixed martial artist and UFC former light heavyweight champ now heavyweight champion Jon Jones. the tester claimed she was subjected to verbal threats, assault, and even theft of her phone while conducting a routine drug test at one of Jones’ residences. A police report says the subject of the drug test, Jones, allegedly threatened to murder the drug tester.
APD launched a police investigation into the incident and found enough evidence to issue a criminal summons for Jones’ actions.
According to our research as of today, a criminal summons has still not been filed with Bernalillo County Court. Jones has been recently posting to his social media accounts that he is healed and he has started training for his next fight. The fight will apparently be a heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic at a still un-announced date in the future.

It is more than likely the victim did not want to proceed with the charges and this incident will go away criminally. We reached to APD for comment but it is their internal policy to never ever respond to any inquiries or questions we have of them.

This glorified degenerate thug homie is a disgrace to God and anyone who serves Him. I’ve observed Jones’ conduct both on and OFF the canvas for years, and he is a despicable human being with regard to how he conducts himself. Worst of all, he has a scripture from Philippians tattooed on his chest attesting to his supposed faith to Jesus Christ, but his lifestyle and conduct reflect the polar opposite. That scripture is Philippians 4:13. It says “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”. I’m a Christian, so I see these things through the eyes of God, and it matters to me when I see people use God as some sort of prop for their selfish ambitions, and which are counter to the conduct of a true Christian .
I recall many many news stories both locally and nationally over the years where he uses God’s name in vain, has been busted for using a gun while intoxicated, use of illegal drugs, drinking massive amounts of alcohol, entertaining strippers and prostitutes at strip joints, driving drunk, getting DUI’s, and beating his “fiance1”, and on and on…
His typical pattern after each incident is to “disappear” for a while, get sober for a minute, and then make posts on Fakebook and other social media about how he’s “healed”, and God is great, and on and on, only to repeat the same disgusting un-Godly conduct over and over again. Worse yet, he is a terrible example for his child and the countless kids who think him a role model. It’s what homies do.
John needs to get right with God, and surrender to Him fully. Only then, will he be worthy of that scripture he wears on his chest and what it REALLY means!!! When I read and hear these stories, I am compelled to pray for him for his true salvation. If he doesn’t change his heart, it’s only going to get worse and worse for him. You can take a homie out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of a homie. He’s pure ghetto.
Lastly, that APD or the local judicial system has done NOTHING about this latest incident, speaks VOLUMES for how utterly incompetent our law enforcement and legal system is in Albuquerque, and throughout this state. Disgusting, but not surprised at all that nothing has transpired regarding this. Sounds like there has been some good old fashioned intimidation that has taken place behind the scene for the “witness” NOT to have been cooperative thus far so that criminal charges could be filed.
Cry some more…
Sounds like you’ve already posted judgment on John Jones, Who are we to judge? Are you without sin? We all fall short of the glory of God, Salvation comes from God Not from men. Salvation lead us to repentance. John bones Jones definitely has his struggles and is fighting his On spiritual battles, But I thank God he comes to repentance and admits he falls short , I also thank God that he glorifies God, At least he is not Glorifying the devil Lucifer, As many athletes do, Let’s pray For John B Jones that he will continue to fight the good fight of faith and continue to ask God for forgiveness ,when he falls short of the glory of God ,as we all do, Let’s pray that he will not lose his faith and that he will grow stronger than ever before, You were talking about all the articles and stories that you’ve read, Do you know John Boone Jones in person Have you ever sat down and talk to him heart to heart ,Brother to Brother , If not Why do you talk so bad about him and post your judgment
.father in the mighty name of Jesus I pray for John bones Jones I ask that you strengthen him spiritually mentally and physically, I pray that you encamp your angels around him and keep him safe, guard him from the hands Of the Devil and Lord I asked that you would speak to him, and I asked that you would continue to heal him from his surgeries He’ll him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet I asked you that your that your blood Wood wash purify and strengthen him ,so that he may continue fighting in the sport that he loves and that you will use him to Spread your Gospel message of salvation in the mighty name of Jesus amen
Brother Gregory – Righteous judgement is given us as Christians as we are to be SALT AND LIGHT to a lost world. That whole “who are you to judge someone” (Matt. 7:1) is absolute drivel as it pertains to what I have stated. I don’t need to know him to recognize that he simply bears the fruit of his conduct. I think I made it pretty clear that I pray for him. That’s what God wants us to do when we see someone as significantly conflicted as this man is, just as we should pray for those who are lost. Frankly, he may well be lost. I have never heard him speak of salvation or heard him share his testimony about how he came to KNOW Jesus Christ. In some ways, it’d be better if he weren’t a Christian since he conducts himself in such a disgraceful and disrespectful manner. Matthew 7 makes it crystal clear that ‘we will know them by their fruit.’
If you want to learn about righteous judgement, you can read the account of Jesus when He offered His scathing rebuke of the crowd he spoke to at the Feast of Tabernacles. See John 7. Key point is that He spoke about those who are “willing to do God’s will” are going to understand the source and authority of Jesus’ teaching, because His teaching is from God. It becomes clear that the reason the crowd does not understand Him is that they do not know God (John 8:42–43). They have the Mosaic Law yet are themselves lawbreakers. So, following up on His scathing assessment of their hypocrisy regarding the Sabbath law, Jesus commands the crowds to “judge with righteous judgment” not by outward appearance. John 7:24
THAT is exactly what I have posited regarding Mr. Jones. He NEEDS JESUS in his heart!!! He needs to LIVE for Jesus and let Jesus lead him to victorys in his life through humility and righteousness. Otherwise, his conduct mocks and disgraces the Lord because of the despicable witness he bears. It is contrary to the Word of God.
