Motorcycle Crash Closes Down Big I Northbound, Check for Updates on When it Opens

The Friday evening commute will be delayed because of a motorcycle crash on the Big I heading northbound.

Around 3PM, an Albuquerque Police officer observed a downed motorcycle on the Big I interchange heading northbound. The rider had serious injuries and was transported to UNMH.

We will update the story if we learn any more information or traffic delays.

UPDATE:

As of 4:50 PM, the crash on northbound Interstate 25 has been cleared from the roadway.

No additional information was available on the rider’s condition as of this update.
