Motorcycle Crash Happens in NE ABQ, Rider Transported to Hospital

Albuquerque –

Just after 10AM, the Albuquerque Police and Fire Departments responded to a multivehicle crash at the 1700 block of San Mateo Blvd. NE. When first responders arrived they found a motorcycle laid down and the rider needing medical attention in the southbound lanes.

AFR worked on the rider and was able to stabilize him and he was transported to a local hospital. He appeared to be talking to rescue personnel as he was being loaded into the ambulance. It also appeared he was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.

It is unclear to us how this crash happened. We will update this story if we find out any more information.
