Albuquerque –
According to civilian APD spokesman Gilbert Gallegos, officers in the Southwest Area Command responded to reports of a shooting shortly before midnight on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at Pat Hurley park, located at 420 Yucca Dr., N.W. Officers located an adult male with gunshot wounds. Responding officers and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the man died on scene.
APD homicide detectives are now taking over the overnight shooting death at Pat Hurley Park on Albuquerque’s West Side.
Detectives worked through the night and the investigation is on-going.
