SW Albuquerque – An APD sworn PIO has informed media that a shooting is currently under investigation by officers of the South West Area Command. The shooting occurred in the area of the 9800 Benavides Rd. SW.
Officer Daren DeAguero goes on to report that at approximately 7:56 PM this evening, officers were dispatched to the area in response to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a dead body. At this time, no killers are in custody and the investigation is in its preliminary stages .
We are headed to the scene to try and gather more information.
