APD Motors unit uses a drone to do a crash investigation at Hanover Rd and Coors Blvd NW
Albuquerque, NM – According to the Albuquerque Police Department’s sworn PIO Chase Jewell, around 6:30AM, APD Officers were dispatched to the area of Coors Blvd NW and Hanover Rd NW for a vehicle crash. When APD Officers arrived at the crash location, the victim had already died as a result of their injuries. APD’s Motor Unit has been called out to investigate this fatal vehicle crash.

On scene, we observed a male pedestrian dead in the road. The pedestrian had an olive drab jacket with jeans. A pick up truck was pulled to the side of the road a few hundred feet away. APD’s Motor Unit was conducting their investigation and they were using their new drone in the field.
