At approximately 12:22 AM on March 27, 2025, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire at the Lincoln Place Apartments, 4401 San Pedro Dr NE. The apartments are on San Pedro Dr and Topke Pl. Engine 15 arrived and found heavy flames on both the first and second floors of the two-story multifamily building. A video shared on AFR’s social media pages, captured by Eric Peralta, shows flames soaring into the air and firefighters working to extinguish them. AFR crews quickly initiated firefighting operations, bringing the fire under control within 30 minutes of arrival.
The fire caused significant damage to the building, displacing several residents. The specific number of displaced residents was not made public.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.
AFR Fire Investigators are on scene to determine the fire’s origin and cause, but the investigation is ongoing.
