Person Stabbed Near Central Ave. in SE ABQ

Albuquerque –

Just before 8:40 PM, police were alerted to a stabbing near Indiana St. and Cochiti SE. Albuquerque Police Department officers and emergency medical personnel from Albuquerque Fire and Rescue were dispatched.

They found one person that was stabbed in the chest. A chest seal was applied to the victim. There are a few scenes related to the stabbing and APD is investigating multiple scenes in the area. One scene was at the KFC located on Central Ave. at Louisiana Ave. SE.

The stabbing victim was transported to UNMH in an unknown condition. The area of Indiana and Cochiti was being blocked off for investigators to collect evidence and investigate the scene.
