According to an Albuquerque Police Department spokeswoman, APD homicide detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m., on April 5, 2026 in the area of 400 Copper Ave. NW.

The email said officers arrived to the listed address and located a deceased male. The male had injuries consistent with being stabbed.
A homicide call-out was initiated and detectives are continuing their investigation.
