Albuquerque –
Around 4:30PM, Albuquerque Police Department officers from the University Area Command and “PRT” detectives located a stolen vehicle. They tried to pull over the vehicle but it fled from them.
The suspect vehicle went south on Yale Blvd towards the Sunport. A witness told us they saw the vehicle make a U-turn to then go northbound on Yale Blvd. During this maneuvering the car flipped in the middle of the street. Close by, officers saw suspects flee from the now crashed vehicle and they pursued them on foot. A short foot chase occurred and while on scene we saw at least 2 people in custody and being questioned about the stolen crashed vehicle.
Yale Blvd northbound between Sunport Court and Sunport Loop was closed while police investigated the scene. People arriving and leaving Albuquerque got a cool welcoming view of the aftermath of a felony crime and crash in the roadway.

When NM’s flee, do they think they can get away, or they know that “not much” will be done to them? Or both?
That’s why they flee because a lot is going to happen to them. The reason a lot of people have nothing happen to them is because their informants. This city is full of them.
