We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.
As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. Albuquerque –

An accident was reported at the intersection of Old Orchard Ln and Harper Rd NE. Rescue and Engine 15 were dispatched to the scene as injuries were reported.

Police and fire crews are responding to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at Campus Blvd NE & Girard Blvd NE. Injuries are reported but the severity is not known. The pedestrian reportedly declined to be transported.

BCSO and BCFR responded to a motorcycle crash at 2nd St NW and Haines Ave NW. Reportedly a truck hit a motorcycle.

APD, APD Police Service Aides and AFR are at the scene of an accident on I-25 northbound at mile marker 226 (I-40 WB Ramp / Big I). The left lane is closed. Expect heavy delays.

BCSO was sent to a two vehicle crash in the Auto Zone at 6626 4th St. NW, which is on 4th between Nara Vista Rd and Schulte Rd.

There is a three vehicle collision near Central Ave SE and Girard Blvd NE. APD and AFR are being sent.

There is a multi-vehicle crash at Haines Ave NE and San Mateo Blvd NE. There are injuries in the accident and AFR is being sent. APD and Police Service Aides are on scene blocking traffic.
There is a separate major crash at San Mateo and Ponderosa Ave NE. San Mateo is blocked off at Goodrich.

Officers from APD and emergency medical personnel from AFR were sent to Aztec and San Mateo for a crash where one vehicle occupant was suffering from a medical condition.

There is an accident at interstate 40 eastbound between Broadway and the Big I. The crash is near mile marker 159. The three right lanes closed at this time. Drivers should proceed with caution and expect delays.

An collision was reported at Lomas Blvd NE and Madeira Dr NE. Not long after, a head-on accident was reported at the intersection of Lomas and San Mateo. Police are en route to see if the two accidents are related. Drivers should expect delays.

There is an accident at Northeastern Blvd NE and Wyoming Blvd NE. Officers are en route to this crash.
